My story...
Hi, my name is Kara Coffee, welcome to my homestead! I am an accidental country girl. I lived in the city and the closest I had ever been to a cow was picking up steak at the grocery story, but all that changed when I met my Cowboy husband.
Now I live on a cattle ranch in South Eastern, Oklahoma with my husband and brood of kids. We raise our own beef, sometimes pigs, and with our large family lots of fun and trouble!
I have always enjoyed growing my own food, even when that was just herbs in my apartment window, I have always wanted to be more self-sufficient and know what is in every part of the food I feed my family. I love the old fashioned home skills that I have learned over the years and I hope to share some of them with you! Join me as we learn and perfect going from seed to pantry!.
